Emmerdale Coach Tours- Emmerdale Farm, TV

Emmerdale Coach Tour

Emmerdale (previously Emmerdale Farm) celebrated its 40th anniversary with its first-ever live episode on 17 October 2012. It is set in Emmerdale (known as Beckindale until 1994), a fictional village in the Yorkshire Dales.

It is one of the UK’s most popular soaps.

ABC Coaches (based in Manchester) run coach tours to the Yorkshire Dales locations where Emmerdale is filmed, where visitors can enjoy the beautiful Yorkshire Dales sights and flavour of one of the UK’s most enduring TV soap operas. We can also visit the TV studio where the actors work.

The image above shows one of our brand new superb 53 seater executive coaches (Air Conditioning, Toilet, Drinks Machine, Fridge, Reclining Seats, USB and Plug Sockets), stopped for a refreshment break at the Goathland Hotel, Whitby, Yorkshire. This was a tour of the Yorkshire Dales to take in both Emmerdale and other scenic parts of this area. The visitors were a group of Norwegian tourists.

The Goathland Hotel is well known locally and internationally as the ‘AIDENSFIELD ARMS’ in Yorkshire Televisions very popular ‘HEARTBEAT’ series.
